Helping you make the most
of the broadband stimulus funds
Following the releases of the NOFA for
the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP)
and the Broadband Infrastructure Program (BIP), states
now face the task of developing and submitting proposals
that both address the NOFAs’ goals, requirements and
criteria in ways that maximize prospects for approval
and maximize the benefits of broadband to citizens,
businesses and community anchor institutions.
How we can help
We can help States achieve these
two goals in ways that yield the most “bang for the
buck” from Federal stimulus funds.
We have the capacity
and tools that can add quality and credibility to
proposals in four key program areas funded by the BTOP
and mapping NOFAs:
-
Cost-effective state broadband
mapping, with independent verification, that meets
or exceeds the requirements set forth in the State
Broadband Data Program (SBDP) NOFA.

-

that identify and overcome barriers to adoption,
usage and benefits and help planners prioritize
broadband investment options. These planning
activities are eligible for SBDP funding up to
$500,000 per project.
